CABOT - the Manx Boy

Already owned by an Adult Male Manx Rumpy (Rescued from Tasmania) and Devon Rex Lady (Rescued from Melbourne), we were not intending to have another cat join us. However, after reading about the Blacktown Manx on Google, which led us to PetRescue, I persuaded my wife to view him in Sydney with the kind lady who Rescued him from Death Row. As soon as my wife met this little Manx Man, we Unhesitatingly arranged to fly him back to Adelaide that night on the same aircraft as my wife. This Kitten is Mr Personality Plus and deserved to be saved. He had the Qantas staff fussing all over him. The Rescue Lady said this little fellow is so special she would have rescued him even if he was not a Manx and he is so loving/endearing we would have also flown him to Adelaide if he was a moggie. Manny our Rumpy Manx Man and Cabot (as we have named him) now 7 months old, have been inseparable ever since they met some 2 months ago and behave as though they have known each other forever, even though Manx Kittens play hard. They sleep together, play together and groom each other. Chloe our Devon Rex Lady has also accepted Cabot, but is more reserved as Cabot keeps trying to play with Her tail. We can not understand why this Lovely Microchipped Manx Kitten was never claimed and ended up on Death Row. However, we have gained a wonderful addition to our Family and are Daily most thankful for their companionship in our Cat Safe Home. We are glad PetRescue and kind Rescue people exist. Missy is a gem

A few months ago we rescues a little maltese named Mitzy from your website, after the loss of one of our beloved dogs. I just wanted to say thank you - she is a gem! Mitzy is now Missy and it is such a nice feeling to know that we have given her another chance, and she will forever have a loving home and someone to look after her :)

Layla

Thank you Pet Rescue for the wonderful service that you provide. Through your website we have been able to meet and adopt Layla from the Grafton Happy Paws Haven.

She is the perfect dog for us and we are so pleased that we made the decision to go up to Grafton and Yamba to have a look at the listed pets. The dog that we originally went to see was unsuitable but we found Layla and couldn't be happier. Keep up the great work. Sincerely yours Ron, Jill and Layla

Dear PetRescue, We adopted Snoopy 3 months ago and he is doing really well. He has a trainer and goes to puppy school on Sundays. He also recently went for a weekend vacation on a farm with us to Daylesford. He's such a very vibrant happy personality now. We'd love to share these photos of our Snoopy with you. Cheers, Lindsay Matt and Snoop dog

Nero's new family think he's tops

Hi PetRescue, Please see a photos of Nero we adopted nearly 12 months ago.
Media_httppetrescuecomaublogwpcontentuploads200812nerojpg_chcbthmkieykddt
You will be happy to know Nero now rules the house, he lives inside has his own little bed and play area. He's very affectionate he likes to start his day early jumping up on our bed and basically won't get down until you get up. He likes to spend his morning rolling around our back patio and plays very well with our other pet a little Jack Russell named Bobby. Then its time for another snooze and some lunch, then maybe another little snooze and then an adventure in the back yard climbing a tree or chasing the dog. Nero is very spoiled and much loved and is the perfect pet for our son Sam. Once again thanks you to all the staff at Pet Rescue and I have and do recommend any body looking for a special pet to contact you guys and inquire. Kind Regards Julie, Mick and Sam. Nero and Bobby.

Zac and Dudley party hearty

This is Zac and Dudley celebrating their first birthday in their new home. Neglected and homeless they found themselves at Renbury Farm Pound in NSW. Luckily, kind and dedicated foster carers from PAWS rehabilitated these lovely chaps, but most amazingly of all, their soon-to-be-new-mum Kaye was in PERTH! She saw them both on PetRescue and fell in love, flying them to be with her.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZAC AND DUDLEY! and many happy returns!

Pilchard

My boyfriend and I adopted Kye now known as "Pilchard" after seeing his beautiful picture on your website. We have had Pilchard now for just over 1 month and love him to bits. His online profile matches his personality perfectly. He is a crazy ball of energy that loves to explore everything and anything all at the same time!! Some of his favourite pastimes are birdwatching, tearing up toilet paper, hunting out poor fish from outside the tank (and once jumped into the tank I might add), ambushing any unsuspecting humans, playing fetch with his mouse toys and ping pong balls, the fridge magnets, zippers on our clothing etc (anything that moves) and at the end of the day he likes to snuggle and suckle on the carpet next to us while purring his cute little head off. Other than the name Pilchard we have other names we call him also like "The Monster" "Monkey" "Terrorist" "Wolverine" "devil in a cat suit" etc etc He is now considered a member of our family and is very much loved by us both. We couldn't imagine our lives without him. He loves us too especially when we are in the kitchen area. Most of all we really love the fact that we adopted a fostered cat to give him a second chance.Your site features so many beautiful animals and we had a hard time trying to nail down the purrrrfect kitty :) Thank you for introducing us to our little angel. Kind regards Tina and Bruno
